EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

PROVIDING BASIC NEEDS TO THOSE ON THE BRINK OF HOMELESSNESS

Catholic Charities Bureau emergency financial assistance program is a recognized and proven way to prevent homelessness in Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns counties. Our program facilitates and distributes grants from several federal and state/local agencies to serve those in our community who are struggling to pay utility bills, rent/mortgage payments or need food assistance. By aiding them with these basic needs, we ensure they can stay safely in their homes.

This program is open to families with children, households that are homeless, clients referred from other agencies that have worked with the family/individual, households or individuals who have experienced domestic violence in the past 30 days and families with children that are secondary tenants. Services available include:

  • Rent and mortgage assistance

  • Utility payments

  • Rent and utility deposits

  • Rental application fees

If you are in need of emergency financial assistance,
