FOOD ASSISTANCE

MEETING THE MOST BASIC HUMAN NEED BY FEEDING THE HUNGRY.

Catholic Charities Bureau and our four regional offices provide nutritious food to individuals and families struggling with food insecurity.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, in 2020, an estimated 1 in 8 Americans were food insecure. Of these 38 million Americans, almost 12 million are children. Food insecurity is defined as a lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life. Our food pantries and food bank play a vital role in our community in ensuring that those in need have access to healthy, nutritious food.

Food Assistance is available across our entire 17-county service area. See our Regional Offices tab to contact your local agency.
